Fall 2024 Registration is now open.

Registration for our Fall 2024 Town Soccer (Grades 2 & younger) program will close on June 21st.

Registration for our Fall 2024 Travel Soccer (Grades 3&4) program will close on June 7th. Please note tryouts for placement on our travel programs will be held on May 29th (girls) and May 30th (boys). There is a seperate link to register for the tryouts. The deadline to register for the tryouts is May 24th.

TRYOUTS FOR NEXT YEAR’S GRADE 3&4 TRAVEL SOCCER PROGRAM

All players who wish to play in our Grade 3&4 Travel program next year (Fall ‘24 and/or Spring ‘25 seasons) are encouraged to attend our tryouts on May 29th (Girls) and May 30th (Boys). (This is for players currently in Grade 2 or 3).

Girls Tryouts: Wednesday, May 29, 2024; 5:00-6:45pm

Boys Tryouts: Thursday, May 30, 2024; 5:00-6:45pm

Where: Middleton Transfer Station Fields.

Pre-registration: www.middletonsoccer.com (registration closes on May 24^th)

Please pre-register your player for the tryouts at: www.middletonsoccer.com. (There is no cost to register/participate in the tryouts). Registration for the tryouts will close on May 24^th.

All players will be able to participate in the program regardless of their tryout. We use the tryouts to place each player on the most appropriate team.

If your player is unable to attend the tryouts, they will still be allowed to participate next year. We will use other methods to determine which team to place them on. But attending the tryouts will result in more appropriate team placement.

If your player does not expect to play in Fall ’24 but does expect to play in Spring ’25, we encourage them to attend the tryouts so that we can determine their potential placement for a team during the Spring ’25 season.

Please note that registering for the Tryouts does NOT automatically register your player for our Travel Soccer program. Remember to also register your player for the appropriate season also.

INFORMATION ABOUT OUR GRADE 3&4 TRAVEL SOCCER PROGRAM

This is our travel program for Grades 3 & 4 Middleton Youth Soccer players. We will compete against teams from other towns within Essex County in Massachusetts.

This program typically involves 1 team game per week (usually held on Saturdays), 1-2 team practices per week, and 1 skills clinic (run by professional coaches from a local soccer academy) per week.

For the Fall season, we expect practices will begin in late August and games will being in early September.

For the Spring season, we expect practices will begin in late March, and games will begin in early April.

We try to keep teams as consistent as possible between the Fall/Spring seasons however some players may be shifted based on number of participants.

The deadline to register for the Fall '24 season will be June 7th, 2024.

All players who do not already have a travel uniform (which is different from In-Town uniforms), details will come before the start of the season on how to order.

All players who will be in 5th grade or older during the 2024/2025 school year should register for our Tri-town Masco soccer program through Topsfield Athletic Association.

Registration - Travel Soccer (Fall '24 Season)

Travel Soccer 2024/25 (Grade 3&4)

This is our travel program for Grades 3 & 4 Middleton (Massachusetts) Youth Soccer players. This is for players who will be in the 3rd or 4th grade during the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 soccer year. We will compete against teams from other towns within Essex County in Massachusetts.

We try to keep teams as consistent as possible between the Fall/Spring seasons however rosters may change due to enrollment numbers. Our travel league requires us to submit our team rosters in early Summer, which is why we need to hold registration so far in advance.

Registration for the Spring ‘25 season will start in December ‘24. We expect to have spots for all players on our Spring '25 teams however if you do not play in the fall there is a small chance we will run out of spots on the rosters. (our travel league limits how many players we can roster on each team).

The deadline to register for the Fall 2024 season will be June 7th, 2024.

Registration - Town Soccer (Fall '24 season)

Town Soccer 2024/25 (Grade 2 & younger)

This is our Middleton (Massachusetts) in-town soccer program for our Tots, PreK-K, and Grade 1&2 players. We typically offer a Fall season (September thru early November) and a Spring season (early April thru early/mid-June). A separate registration is required for each season.

We expect the Fall season will begin in early September and the Spring season will begin in early April.

The Tots program is a basic skills introduction via fun games and activities that involve as many touches on the soccer ball as possible. The goal of this program is to foster a love for the game while providing the kids an opportunity to learn the game and play with classmates. There is no scrimmaging at this age group. All players must have turned 3-years-old by September 1st to register for the following Fall and/or Spring seasons.

The Pre-K/K program is designed to continue the skills development, and introduces the game play side of soccer via small sided games and scrimmages. This program is typical broken up into 30 minutes skills and drills, 30 minutes scrimmages.

The Grade 1&2 program continues to develop individual skills while introducing informal team play. The session includes skills and drills as well as scrimmages. We also do our best to offer an additional practice day for this age group, typically led by one of our local club affiliates. The additional day is optional, and provided as we are able, day of the week TBD for the additional day.

We expect the following schedule for the Fall 2024 season:

Season Start: Early September

Anticipated Season End: Early November

We are unable to finalize exact schedules until we know how many players register for each age group. We expect to maintain a schedule similar to the Spring '24 season, which was:

Grade 1&2 Boys

Games: Saturdays 8-9am or 9-10am (Dependent on inter-town scrimmages)

Practice: Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm (times might vary depending on how many teams we have)

Grade 1&2 Girls

Games: Saturdays 9-10am (some games might be scrimmages in nearby towns)

Practices: Mondays 5:15-6:15pm

Pre K /K Boys and Girls

Saturdays 10:15am - 11:15am

Soccer Tots

Sundays: 10:00am - 10:45am

We anticipate the need to keep groups small, and as such, we will have a tremendous need for additional coaches/parent helpers. Please register as a Volunteer HERE or contact our In-Town Director, Flavio Pereira, at [email protected] if you are able to help coach your player's team.
